“I take great personal pride in my work, and I feel personally invested in the success of every application that I work on. I strive to understand the needs of every client to deliver the best possible service.  I sincerely love science and technology, and I think that’s reflected in the work that I do.”

Kevin’s professional career as an engineer has been fueled by curiosity and the desire for genuine intellectual challenge. After receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Kevin started his career at the Heart Technology Center of Boston Scientific Corporation, where he managed manufacturing operations and developed innovative products and processes for non-invasive surgical products.  In 2001, Kevin was recruited by the International Research and Development division of Boston Scientific where he joined the development team that successfully launched the TAXUS drug-eluting coronary stent platform.

During his career as an engineer, Kevin has developed expertise in a wide variety of materials and technologies.  He developed processes for polymers, metals, and ceramics, using state-of-the-art analytical techniques for analysis and characterization.  His passion for innovation culminated in obtaining a patent, as an inventor, in the field of rotational atherectomy. Based on his positive experience as an inventor, he decided to pursue a career as a patent attorney by attending law school at the University of Washington.

As a patent attorney, Kevin has expanded his technological skill set into the fields of semiconductors, signal processing, and wireless communications.  Between his background in the physical sciences and his experience in the computer and electrical arts, Kevin is technically competent to represent an extensive range of technologies as a patent attorney.  He has prosecuted hundreds of applications for clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to solo inventors.  Kevin believes that every inventor deserves the best possible representation, and he tailors his services to the business objectives and resources of each individual client.

When Kevin isn’t working with inventors, you can typically find him exploring the North Cascades, or traveling to some remote place in the world.
