Richard Ogawa

Biography

Richard’s practice encompasses all aspects of intellectual property law. In addition to being a seasoned patent prosecutor, his practice includes advising clients on intellectual property strategies, joint ventures, and licensing. Richard also provides counseling and opinions to clients in a wide array of fields including semiconductor devices, networking, memory disks, integrated circuits, batteries, solar lighting, and other related technologies.

Richard was a partner at Townsend and Townsend and Crew, LLP for several years, and also served as the Chairman of the Asia Practice Group at the firm. Richard is currently serving as Chief Intellectual Property Officer of Khosla Ventures.
